Schedule of Services
The High Holidays are fast approaching! As we have in the past, BAJC will celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at the West Village Meetinghouse (aka All Souls Church) in West Brattleboro. Please make a note of the dates and times of the services:
Wednesday, Oct 2 – 7:00 PM – Erev Rosh Hashanah followed by Oneg
Thursday, Oct 3 – 9:30 AM – Rosh Hashanah Service
Thursday, Oct 3 – 4:00 PM – Shofar Service and Tashlich at Farmers’ Market Site
Friday, Oct 11- 7:00 PM Kol Nidre
Saturday, Oct 12 – 9:30 AM Yom Kippur Service
12:30 PM – Yizkor (Starting time approximate)
4:30 PM – Mincha
6:30 PM – Ne’ilah
7:30/8:00 PM – Break Fast
Everyone is welcome at our High Holiday Services. Membership in BAJC is not necessary. However, we hope that anyone who joins us will consider making a contribution to our High Holiday Appeal. For non-members, this donation can be applied to Gift of the Heart (Membership) if someone becomes a member during the coming year.
Childcare will be available from 9:30-1:00 on October 3 and from 9:30-1:30 on Oct 12. Donations for childcare appreciated but not required.
