The Yizkor prayers we recite four times a year ask God to remember the souls of our loved ones. We pledge tzedakah to support ideals important to them, honoring them by doing good in a tangible way. BAJC affords you this opportunity to give tzedakah for each person you remember.
If you wish to have names of loved ones in the Book of Remembrance, from which we will read at the Yom Kippur Yizkor service, we ask that you make a donation of $10-$18 per name. (See link for online donations below.) The booklet will be available to all to keep. The people you want to remember need not be Jewish, nor do you have to be Jewish or a member of BAJC to have names in the Book.
If you wish to repeat names for which you donated last year, please send the appropriate donation for the new year. If you want to add, delete, or edit your list of names, or if you have any questions, please contact Faith (802) 464-2632.
If you are contributing names for the first time, please send the names , clearly written, to faithschuster85@gmail.com or to PO Box 336, West Dover 05356, along with your name and contact information.
