Donations of non-perishable food, blankets and warm clothing are needed for our unhoused and hungry neighbors.
The following items are desperately needed by unhoused people in our community who are clients of Groundworks shelter.
We have large bins just inside the left hand door of the BAJC barn to collect what is most needed:
One Yellow lidded bin is to collect sleeping bags, blankets, winter jackets and sturdy winter boots.
Please: Make sure sleeping bags, blankets and any winter clothing items are CLEAN and in GOOD SHAPE! DO NOT leave torn, worn out, dirty, ripped or otherwise damaged items.
Two Purple bins are to collect food items that the groundworks staff hands out to folks who stop by the (always filled to capacity) shelter all through the night and have no place to sleep. Food items include:
Protein Drinks, Granola Bars, Fruit snacks, Goldfish, Cheese sticks,
Snack packs of cookies, Juice boxes, Peanut Butter crackers,
Cheez-its, Bread, Bananas, Hot Cocoa Packets, Packaged beef sticks
These bins will be regularly brought to GroundWorks as we fill them up.
Any questions, please email Judy Greenberg: judybgvermont@gmail.com
And thank you for your generosity and kindness! Every item will be very well used and very much appreciated.
