BAJC Committees

At BAJC we believe that the value of our congregation is not determined by its size, budget, or architecture, but by the people who enter our doors. We are grateful for your participation.

We celebrate the wonderful diversity that makes us who we are – a Temple family, contributing experiences from a multitude of backgrounds … ages from the youngest of the young to the young-at-heart … traditional and non-traditional family units and lifestyles … lifelong Jews, Jews by choice, and those exploring Judaism … families of multiple faiths. No matter what one’s background, when we gather in worship, study, celebration, friendship, support, and the pursuit of tikkun olam, we are one community, far greater than the sum of our parts.

BAJC’s strength lies in the active involvement of members in all volunteer committees. We are a hands-on congregation, with congregants and friends actively engaged in everything from education and ritual to social action.

Do you have a special talent or interest? Want to make new friends? Committees give members many avenues for involvement. They make the congregation a warm and welcoming Jewish community and offer opportunities for members to find spiritual, social, and intellectual fulfillment.

Membership in committees is open to all. Please contact the Administrator to explore getting involved.
